School students from across Australia are invited to compete for their school or education institute at this years ANQ Student Games/All Comers Championships. This annual Track and Field meet will showcase 400 students from primary, secondary, tertiary and university institutions  competing at the Townsville Sports Reserve.

ANQ is proud to have The North Queensland Sports Foundation (NQSF) on board as the major sponsor for this event. The NQSF has strived to develop sport in this large region of Queensland since it’s initiation in 1983. ANQ thanks this great organisation for their ongoing support to the Athletics community.

This year, we will welcome athletes from the U20 Australian squad who are preparing to travel to Tampere, Finland in July for the 2018  IAAF U20 World Championships.

Some featured athletes travelling to compete include:

Riley Day - 100m/Relay & 200m Commonwealth Games Semi-Finalist

Celeste Mucci - 4th Heptathlon -Commonwealth Games

Nash Lowis - 2nd Javelin - Australian Junior Champs (From Charters Towers)

For NQ region junior athletes, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience against Australia's best.

The World Junior team will be competing in hopes to meet pre-departure performances standards to ensure their starting place in Finland.
