nqsf student games, all comers, and qld masters championships

School students from across Australia are invited to compete for their school or education institute at this years North Queensland Sports Foundation Athletics North Queensland (ANQ) Student Games Championships. This annual Track and Field meet will showcase 400 students from primary, secondary, tertiary and university institutions  competing at the Townsville Sports Reserve.

ANQ is proud to have The North Queensland Sports Foundation (NQSF) on board as the major sponsor for this event. The NQSF has strived to develop sport in this large region of Queensland since it’s initiation in 1983. ANQ thanks this great organisation for their ongoing support to the Athletics community.

These championships also incorporate the ANQ All Comers Championships, along with the 2017 Queensland Masters Combined Events Championships. All ages and abilities are welcomed to attend and compete.

These championships are an Athletics Australia Permit Meet. Qualifications for international events, including the IAAF World Championships can be achieved by competing at this event.

Congratulations to the athletes and schools who received awards at the North Queensland Sports Foundation Student Games. Click here to see the recipients>>
