Angeline Pascoe (Mulgrave Athletics) in the U16 Hammer Throw. With a throw of 41.97m in the second round to place 5th at the end of the event.
Mikayla Webb (Mackay Athletics) in the first heat of the U16 100m ran a 12.31 to Automatically Qualify for the finals later that day. In the finals, Mikayla ran a strong 12.31 to place 7th.
Piper Devine (Cairns Athletics) in the U16 1500m in the first timed final, in a competitive race piper ran 4:37.50 to place 10th overall in the event.
Raveen Alwis (Cairns Athletics) in the first heat of the U16 100m, Raveen ran 12.19 to place 7th in the heats. Following his 100m heats on Saturday, Raveen jumped 5.97m in the U16 Long Jump.
Ollie Boltz (Pace Running and Multisport) in the U20 5000m, Ollie ran a 14:47.75 to place 9th in the race.
Paul Busch (Normanton Athletics) in a busy Sunday competing in two events. First up was the U15 Hammer, throwing 22.13m in the third round to place 11th. A couple of hours later Paul competed in the U15 shot put, throwing 10.38m in the final round to place 14th in his first-ever national championships.
Kaelan Callaghan (Cairns Athletics) in the U15 100m. Racing against the eventual Australian champion Kaelan ran 12.50 to place 9th in the 2nd heat.
Hayley Colless (North Mackay Athletics) competing in heat 2 of the U14 80m Hurdles. In a tight race across the field Hayley ran 13.39 to miss out on a spot in the finals by 0.05 seconds.
Charli Cox (Ross River Athletics Club) in the 3rd heat of the 100m running 13.86. following up from the 100m Charlie also competed in heat 3 of the U14 80m Hurdles, running 13.73 to place 5th.
Willow Dean (Townsville North Star) in the U15 100m, running in heat 2 Willow ran a 12.84 to place 5th.
Taylah Ellwood (Emerald Athletics Club) with two events on over the weekend. Competing in the U14 Hammer Throw. With a throw of 21.94m in the first round to just miss out on the top 8 by 7cm. In her second event of the weekend Taylah competed in the U14 Shot Put throwing 8.03m in the 3rd round to place 14th.
Brandon Goode (Pace Running and Multisport) competing in the U15 3000m, in a quick race Brandon ran a 10:13.94 to place 25th.
Amos Grigg (Mackay Athletics) in the first heat of the U14 400m, in a quick race Amos was 1.86 seconds off breaking the 60 second barrier running 61.86 to place 5th in the heat.
Kayce Hoani-Vincent (Sarina Athletics) competing in the U16 Pole Vault, jumping 2.20m to place 8th.
Elizabeth Horne (Peak Performance Track Club) in a fast heat of the U16 400m running 59.48 to place 4th and to just miss out on the final by 0.32 seconds.
Lillian Hughes (Townsville North Star) in the 3rd heat of the U16 100m running 12.75 to place 5th.
Sophie Jackson (Cairns Athletics) in the U14 80m Hurdles. In the 1st heat running 15.44 to place 6th in the heat.
Aria Lavis (Cairns Athletics) in the U15 400m heats. In a competitive race Aria ran 64.87 to place 7th.
Bridie Maher (Pace Running and Multisport) in the U16 1500m running in the second heat placing 9th with a time of 4:56.95.
Siannah McGee (Pace Running and Multisport) in the U15 1500m running 4:45.73 to place 7th.
Katelyn McGee (Pace Running and Multisport) in the U15 1500m running alongside her sister running 4:55.16 to place 16th
Zoe Miles (Cairns Athletics) in a busy day, competing in the U15 High Jump with a jump of 1.45m to place 12th. In the U15 Long Jump Zoe jumped 4.31m in the second round to place 18th.
Archie Reid (Pace Running and Multisport) in the U14 1500m Archie ran a 4:44.66 to place 10th in the first heat.
Ashley Thomas (Townsville North Star) in the U20 Discus throwing 42.48m in the first round to place 16th.
Keanu Hewitt-Watson (Townsville North Star) in the first heat of the U15 100m, running 12.18 to place 7th in the heat.
