Congratulations to all athletes that competed on day 4 of the Australian Track and Field Championships.
Zoe Chester (Townsville North Star) competing in the U20 Triple Jump. With wet weather hovering around all day conditions were far from ideal, but that didn’t stop Zoe. Jumping 12.41m in the final round to move into the silver medal position.
Sharie Rainbow (Normanton Athletics) in the U16 200m Hurdles running in far from ideal conditions with a time of 37.06 to place 8th in the second heat.
Taylah Atkins (Townsville North Star) in the U20 Triple Jump, with terrible conditions Taylah pushed on to jump 11.13m to place 10th.
Paul Busch (Normanton Athletics) in the U15 Javelin, with a throw of 27.00m to place 14th.
Isabella Chester (Townsville North Star) in the U15 200m Hurdles running 31.60 to place 4th in the second heat.
Levi Curtis (Longreach Athletics) in the U14 Discus. At his first ever national championships Levi threw 19.01m to place 17th.
Tayah Ellwood (Emerald Athletics) in the U14 Discus throwing 21.59m to place 15th.
Katelyn McGee (Pace Running and Multisport) in the U15 800m final running 2:17.11 to place 5th overall.
