Australian Track and Field Championships Day 2
Raveen Alwis (CNS) in the U15 Long Jump, jumped 5.84 in the first round which put him into second place. In the final round, Raveen jumped 6.07m a 20cm PB to secure the silver medal by 1cm.
Ava Barron (MAC) in the women’s U14 Triple Jump, jumped 10.47m to take 7th. Backing up from her heat, in the women’s 400m final Ava ran a well thought race, going into the final straight she pushed through to take the silver medal in a time of 60.48
Zoe Chester (TNS) in the women’s U16 Long Jump final, Zoe equalled her PB with a jump of 5.48 to put her into second place at the end of the first round which she held for the rest of the event to take the silver medal.
Patrick Harry (MCO) in the men’s U20 High Jump Final He came into the competition at 1.90m and cleared it on the first attempt. Going into the 1.95 he cleared it on his second attempt to then move onto 2.00m which he cleared on his second attempt to secure the silver medal.

Aria Lavis (CNS) in the 3rd heat of women’s U14 80m Hurdles, ran a 14.19 to place 4th
Charlie Wood (CNS) in the men’s U15 High Jump, jumped 1.65m to take 8th
Isabella Chester (TNS) in the women’s U14 Triple Jump, jumped 10.48m to take 6th place. In the 2nd heat of the U14 80m Hurdles she ran 13.59 to take 4th
Lillian Hughes (TNS) in the women’s U15 400m final, ran 59.72 to take 6th place
Lucas Lane (PRM) in the men’s U15 3000m, ran a 9:52.98 to place 19th
Luke Jorgensen (RSV) in the second heat of the men’s U14 90m Hurdles ran 16.55 to take 8th
Todd Thorn (TNS) in the men’s U20 high jump, jumped a 1.95 to finish 6th
Unity Beitzel (CNS) in the first heat of the women’s U20 100m Hurdles, ran 16.39 to take 8th
Sharnti Woodham (KPL) in the women’s U16 3000m, ran 10:41.38 to place 11th
