The Burdekin Sugar Rush is the signature running event for the Burdekin Road Runners and Walkers Club. The event not only showcases the spectacular features of the Burdekin Shire, but also celebrates the role that fun and fitness has in the community.
Oceania Athletics Championships: Masters Challenge
The Oceania Athletics Championships in Mackay will hold a range of master’s events. The Queensland Masters Championships will also take place as part of the Oceania Masters Challenge. To be eligible, athletes will need to select which competition to be apart, and to be eligible for both competition medals, athletes will need to enter both and pay the $20 Competition Levy for each. The competitions will be run concurrently.
